Ding Tea
Hi guys!
Last Sunday after church, I went with one of my dear best friends, Alli, to a new boba tea place she had been going to. The name is Ding Tea, and it was so amazing! Here are some pictures of the interior:
We got two teas: a hazelnut milk tea (mine) and a guava milk tea with mango jelly (Alli's). It was all around $13 without tip. The milk teas there are made with non-dairy creamer, but the lattes do contain dairy. They have a wide variety of flavors, and I got to try both of the teas we got that day.
Hazelnut and Guava Milk Teas: Taste Test
Let's start with the hazelnut tea. I initially expected this tea to be extremely sweet with a taste similar to Nutella, as it is made out of hazelnuts as well. I was wrong, but I don't regret it. The taste was more nuttier and a bit less sweet, I loved it though, even though it was not what I originally expected. It had the notes of lightly roasted hazelnut. It wasn't as smooth though, I believe it was made with a type of hazelnut-flavored powder. As for the milk substitute, I don't know what it was. But I believe it was almond milk, as my friend's drink also contained the same kind of milk mine did. She can't have soy, and so far it has not affected her in any way. 9/10.
Now, as for the guava milk tea. I had a few sips before my friend gulped it down. It was smooth and sweet, and there was definitely guava in it. The milk did not change much of the guava flavor. I think this is something my parents would enjoy, as they love tropical fruit such as guava and passionfruit. It was a bit too sweet though, but expected to be. Just for that, I give it an 8/10. Their menu is in the first picture, although I am not sure if you will be able to see it well.
Which drink would you get? Comment down below!
